I noticed a comment you left on another blog, and you were talking about how you left New York City and now live in a house. I live all the way over in Ohio and I have a friend from New York City, the Bronx to be exact, and she and her family have moved to upstate New York as they too wanted affordable housing and a lower cost of living. I was intrigued by your comment and so I clicked over to see what you were talking about on your blog. I am going to put your site in my links and I will be around from time to time to see what else you are talking about. I would be interested in knowing what your experience was like living in the city versus now living out of the city. My husband and I absolutely enjoy NYC and go there about every other year or so. We were there two years ago and I am ready to go back for more. Maybe next year, not sure.

Ellie - Thanks for your comment, my first one on this new blog! It actually gave me an idea for a new post, a comparison like you talked about of my life in NYC compared to big 'ole Texas. They are quite the opposites. I really loved NYC, we were there for 3 years and I miss a lot of things but there are definitely some perks that you don't get there. I'll have to gather my thoughts and post about it. Thanks for the idea!
